1974, after obtaining his medical doctorate, Dr. Brown joined Harvard Medical School.

In 1984, Dr. Brown founded the Skin Bank of the University of Louisville Hospital.

In 1986, the Nobel Prize-winning discovery of Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) by Dr. Stanley Cohen and Dr. Rita Levi-Montalcini established EGF as a key regulator of skin regeneration.

Drawing inspiration from this discovery, Dr. Brown published a study in 1989 on EGF’s ability to promote the recovery of damaged skin in The New England Journal of Medicine.

Through this work, Dr. Brown translated regenerative science into noninvasive applications, thereby supporting the recovery of damaged skin while potentially reducing the need for surgical intervention.

In 1994, Dr. Gregory Brown was awarded a patent for his anti-aging skincare technology and created RéVive’s first signature cream, the Moisturizing Renewal Cream and gifted it to his patients in his private practice, thus beginning a journey of skin renewal.

Over the nearly two decades that followed, RéVive formally developed three bioactive peptides with defined functions, establishing RéVive’s signature peptide system.

Dr. Brown leads ReVive Skincare LAB to push the boundaries of anti-aging science, grounding innovation in skin renewal research.
