This Thanksgiving, RéVive Skincare would like to extend a huge thank you to all our customers. CEO, Elana Drell-Szyfer, shares a few words.
A Moment of Reflection with Elana Drell-Szyfer
I always look forward to Thanksgiving. It’s the first “pause” since the end of the summer and an opportunity to recharge mentally and physically before the mad dash to the end of the year. It’s also a time to reflect.
Last year at this time - approximately nine months into the pandemic - I was feeling fortunate for my health, and that of my family. I was also grateful to the RéVive team for holding so much together in our business. Everyone adapted to remote work and virtual communication, and spent the better part of 2020 worrying about business and the ever-changing global circumstances. Would retailers survive? Would they order product? Would people shop online? We made it through 2020, entered 2021 and steadily saw business continue to respond. Customers returned to stores, and continued to buy online, and, by early fall, we were fully reunited with customers who were seeking out in-store events, consultations and facial services.
So here we are again – back in that moment of reflection. I remain thankful for my family’s health, the health and growth of the RéVive team, and the health and growth of our business. I am also grateful to our customers, because, without them, none of the other comments about RéVive’s business would be the case.
One consumer behavior documented during the pandemic was people taking extra time to care for their skin, especially if they couldn’t see an esthetician, or dermatologist. Another was consumers seeking out brands that were proven and had longevity. Long-standing brands represented trust, comfort and increased confidence in performance. RéVive benefitted from both these consumer trends. Early in the pandemic, sales of “self-care” products like masks, cleansers and toners soared. Since people have been returning to work, the sales of our moisturizers with SPF and other products with high-performance technology have seen an increased rate of sale.
For existing customers who continued to purchase the brand during this period of uncertainty, thank you for staying with us. We appreciate your loyalty and dedication to our products. To new customers who discovered the brand and tried us, welcome to the RéVive family.
The science behind RéVive is based on the renewal of the skin. The goal is to help skin become healthier and promote a dewy glow. We believe there is a connection between the inner and the outer – feel good on the outside and the inside will follow – and vice versa.
To everyone who supported us during these trying times, thank you for putting your trust in our products and, by extension, in our team and our brand. May this season be one of renewal for you and your families. Here’s to health, happiness and the continuation of making the connection between feeling good about ourselves inside and out.
